Location: Malmesbury, Wiltshire - in studio position only.
Salary: Dependent on experience

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You’ll play a key role in turning client sketches, concepts, and briefs into fully realised CAD drawings using SketchUp Pro. From initial concept through to detailed manufacturing drawings and cut lists, you'll be responsible for managing projects with precision and creativity.

This role is based on a 35-hour working week, with the option for part-time hours depending on your availability. We offer flexible working hours, but you must be able to commute to our Malmesbury-based studio. Please note: this is an in-studio role and not remote.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:​

​

  • Work from client sketches or briefs to create detailed 3D CAD drawings using SketchUp Pro

  • Produce 3D visuals for bespoke fitted joinery and kitchens, helping our clients' customers visualise the final design

  • Create clear, accurate technical drawings and cut lists ready for manufacture

  • Communicate directly with clients, building strong relationships throughout the design process

  • Manage your workload to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results

  • Report to and collaborate closely with the Design Directors to ensure consistency and quality across all projects

ABOUT YOU:

​

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a design-based role

  • Degree in Design or a related discipline

  • Proficient in SketchUp Pro - training given

  • Strong understanding of technical drawing and manufacturing processes

  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach

  • Organised, self-motivated, and confident managing your own projects

  • A good understanding of, or passion for, furniture and kitchen design
